Basically Beethoven Festival
Every Sunday afternoon in July, the Fine Arts Chamber Players presents
the Basically Beethoven Festival, a series of free classical
chamber music concerts. Professional musicians from across North Texas
perform inside the air-conditioned Rosine Hall at the Dallas Arboretum,
8525 Garland Road.
The afternoon begins at 2:30 p.m. with For the Love of Music,
a twenty-minute pre-concert recital series. For the Love of Music
showcases young talented musicians, giving them an opportunity to perform
before a wider audience. Fine Arts Chamber Players provides a venue for
these gifted young artists as they pursue careers in music. The main concerts
begin at 3:00 p.m.
The concerts are free to the public, but require
a reservation which also provides free entry into the
Dallas Arboretum. Upon arrival at the Arboretum, concert-goers will check
in at the main gate and will be directed to Rosine Hall.
