Accomplished young artist Evan Ritter will present a program of piano repertoire from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods in addition to a contemporary work by composer Frank Martin. A talented, award-winning musician, Mr. Ritter made his orchestral debut with the Plano Symphony at the age of ten. He has been nationally recognized on NPR’s “From the Top” with the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist’s Award. A recent grand prize recipient of the Fort Worth Symphony’s Young Artist Competition, Mr. Ritter was selected as a National YoungArts Foundation Finalist in Classical Music. In addition to the free Bancroft Family Concerts, FACP presents the free Basically Beethoven Festival in July. Each year, FACP’s educational outreach programs, Dream Collectors, Music A-Z, and Music Residencies, provide over 500 free educational classes and performances in area public schools. Since its inception in 1981, FACP has served over 210,000 children and performed for over 530,000 residents of North Texas.
