Assistant Festival Director, Basically Beethoven Festival
Position Responsibilities: Graphic Design Produce concert playbills Design flyers for public Update website Marketing Assist with arranging and recording radio spots Assist with production of TV ads Distribute Press Releases Assist with program notes Oversee social media (Facebook, Twitter) Create and tabulate audience surveys Fundraising Arrange festival raffle Prepare and send contribution acknowledgements Administration/Volunteer Management Respond to patron, vendor and volunteer requests Oversee volunteer base during festival Answer phone and email inquiries Aid with general filing and office duties Position Description Fine Arts Chamber Players (FACP) seeks an intern to work during the summer of 2015 as the Assistant Festival Director for the 35th annual Basically Beethoven Festival in Dallas. Dates: June 8—July 31, 2015 Hours: 35 hours/week June: 10am—5pm, M-F July: 10am—5pm, M-Th 11am—6pm, Sunday Salary: $2,750 paid in bi-weekly installments over 8 weeks Qualifications Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student and returning as sophomore, junior or senior student in the fall.
